- Delete junk email without opening them and never open an email attachment from someone you dont know.
- Avoid using public or shared computers to access financial account online.
- When doing online banking, keep your password and PIN code safe and change them regulary. If you conduct transaction in a number of web site use difference password for each.
- Never click on the link in email message from "bank". Manual key url addresses into the browser's address.
- Never share information that is highly sensitive and degrading on public domains.
- Be careful when giving out personal information on a website, via email, instant messaging, chat room or on message boards.
- Monitor your children's online activities. communicate with your children and ask them to share their online experiences.
- Never assume a public wireless network is secure.
- When peer to peer file-sharing, adjust the file-sharing software's control so that it is no connected to the p2p netwok all the time.
- If your mobile device is equipped with bluetooth turn is off. Only accept incoming data from a source you trust.
